The Oakland Raiders hosted Jacksonville Jaguars free agent running back Maurice Jones-Drew on Thursday. It is interesting considering the Raiders re-signed Darren McFadden, but Rashad Jennings left to sign with the New York Giants.

Things were reportedly going well according to reports from CSN’s Scott Blair.

Now according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Raiders and Jones-Drew are expected to agree to a three-year deal later today. Trying to bring in a solid running back could help the Raiders take some pressure off their quarterback in the 2014 season.
