In a stunt that puts the 2009 six-overtime game between Syracuse and UConn to shame, a group of dedicated basketball players in the Philippines have been playing a single game for over 112 hours.
Here’s what the score was last night:
Score now reads 13847-13856. Already way past previous record last year of 11k. #BasketballMarathon

Although they have already surpassed the previous record, the teams plan on continuing the game for a bit longer:
Target is to play a total of 120 hours. 8 more hours #basketballmarathon

You can follow the contest with the Twitter hashtag #BasketballMarathon. We can only hope the game ends on a buzzer-beater.
