The 6’6, 285-pound Veal attends Ardrey Kell High School in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Veal is the 21st ranked offensive tackle prospect, the eighth ranked overall prospect in the state of North Carolina and 221st ranked overall prospect in the class of 2015, according to 24/7 Sports’ composite rankings.
Veal chose the Tar Heels over offers from the Clemson Tigers, Miami Hurricanes, North Carolina State Wolfpack, South Carolina Gamecocks and West Virginia Mountaineers, among others.
He becomes the sixth commitment in the class of 2015 for the Tar Heels.
