Gabriele Grunewald says she harbors no anger towards Jordan Hasay

Despite Jordan Hasay having played an integral role in her controversial disqualification (and ensuing reinstatement) at last month’s USA Track and Field Indoor Championships, Gabriele Grunewald told Runner’s World that she harbors no anger towards the former Oregon runner.

Grunewald:

“I don’t think I’ve seen [Hasay] since the race itself, to be perfectly honest. If there is anything that can possibly have been taken personally, I just want to make sure that she and I are on good terms. I don’t have any bad blood or ill will toward Jordan Hasay at all.”

Both Grunewald and Hasay will be competing in the Carlsbad 5000, a race that’s called the “World’s Fastest 5K.” We’ll have the results for you tomorrow.
