Kevin Ware is transferring from the Louisville Cardinals to finish his career so he can be closer to his family in Georgia.
Ware was injured in last year’s Elite 8 against Duke when he suffered a devastating broken leg and was limited to only nine games this season after injuring the same leg and is seeking a medical redshirt after.
According to Jeff Goodman, Ware could transfer to Auburn where he once committed to new Tigers head coach Bruce Pearl when he was the coach at Tennessee or Georgia State.
Two schools that could be in play for Kevin Ware are Auburn and Georgia State, sources told ESPN. Ware once committed to Pearl at Tennessee.

Ware will be easy to root for when he makes his return to the court after the nation watched his leg crumble underneath him almost exactly a year ago and we wondered if Ware would ever be able to walk again without a limp, let alone play basketball again.
