While it was an amazing performance for Baars and a disappointing outing for Cyborg, this does not hurt her standing in mixed martial arts at all. Not only is this a completely different sport with different rules, but Cyborg was taking on one of the best in the world and stuck in there until the final bell.

The two-first rounds Barrs controlled the distance and dictated the pace staying at kicking range by catching a few times an aggressive Chris coming in which caused her to hesitate to close the gap until the end of the second round.
Cyborg was capable to turn things around during the third thanks to a better timing catching Jorina´s kick and countering with punches allowing Chris to get inside Baar´s guard unleashing power punches, knees and several clean take down.
The fourth was Chris Cyborg´s strongest round in my opinion and we saw for the first time a Jorina Baar visibly concerned and trying to catch her breath with a mouth wide open. However Jorina finishes strong in the fifth and win this fight.
Two of the judges were really generous with Baars giving her 4 rounds. I saw Chris winning the third and the fourth and I thought the fifth was close. Giving 10/8 to Chris in the fourth would´nt have been chocking as she overwhelmed Jorina with punches and knees scoring few powerful take down as well. Although Chris lost the fight I thought it was for two points.
