On Saturday night, jiu jitsu enthusiasts are set to enjoy a match that we have all been waiting a decade to see. Metamoris 3 will bring us the rematch between Eddie Bravo and Royler Gracie which will headline a stacked card.
Bravo became the first man to submit Gracie back at the 2003 ADCC by triangle choke.
“I’ve wanted a rematch for 10 years,” said Bravo, via Metamoris.com. “I got lucky to go against a legend once. Most people, most lightweights, their dream was to go against Royler. I was lucky enough get pitted up against him. If Buster Douglas got a rematch, that is something I would want to see.”
The event will kick off at 7 p.m. ET and it is something that you will not want to miss.
Also on the card are a number of notable jiu jitsu players, including names that should be familiar to mixed martial arts fans like Vinny Magalhaes, Dean Lister and Renato “Babalu” Sobral.
