The future of Minnesota Timberwolves forward Kevin Love is in serious doubt as the team wants to keep him but are very unsure that they can. It seems almost a consensus among NBA fans that Love will walk in the summer of 2015 and sign with a new team.

While it appears that the Los Angeles Lakers are interested and have been linked to him in the past, a new reports suggests that the Chicago Bulls and New York Knicks are equally as much front runners as the Lakers are.

Per ESPN Los Angeles’ Dave McMenamin

"“A source familiar with Love’s thinking [said] it’s not just L.A. that is appealing to Love. He’s enamored with the idea of being ‘big time in a big city,’ and that list of potential places he’d seek includes New York and Chicago, as well.”"

We don’t know what Kevin Love is going to do, but the Chicago bulls have seldom been mentioned in connection to him and this could open up a floodgate that ultimately leads to the team making a run at signing him or somehow acquiring him before anyone else can.
