NCAA Tournament 2014: Arizona vs. Wisconsin preview and predictions

While the matchup in the Elite Eight between the Dayton Flyers and Florida Gators is notable for its upset value, the game over in the West is notable for it’s insanely high quality. The Wisconsin Badgers didn’t get to the Elite Eight on good looks alone, as the team has been able to adapt to its environment in certain games to make sure that they have survived as long as they have so far.

But while the Badgers looked utterly unstoppable against the Baylor Bears on Thursday, the Arizona Wildcats are not to be taken lightly, as the No. 1 seeded Wildcats have assumed the role of the second highest seeded team remaining in the tournament.

That’s nothing to  sneeze at, as Arizona has looked good in all of their games so far and matchup well against the Badgers. It’s not going to be an easy game for either team, but a the very least we should all be gifted with yet another exciting game this weekend that will likely go down to the very last shot of the contest.

Prediction: Arizona over Wisconsin 71-69
