The second weekend of the 2014 NCAA Tournament is upon us with four great matchups in the Elite 8 after some scintillating Sweet 16 matchups on Thursday and Friday and Cinderella is still alive and well.

The Dayton Flyers and Florida Gators advanced in the East Region after they knocked off the Stanford Cardinal and UCLA Bruins, respectively with the No. 11 seed Flyers captivating the imaginations of the college basketball world wondering if they can knock off Goliath in the form of the top-seeded Gators.

The best game on Saturday, and perhaps the weekend, is the No. 1 seed Arizona Wildcats going up against Bo Ryan and the No. 2 Wisconsin Badgers in the West Region. The Badgers destroyed the Baylor Bears while the ‘Cats survived a poor shooting night from All-American guard Nick Johnson as Aaron Gordon went off to escape an upset bid from the San Diego Aztecs.

Sunday’s games features another Cinderella in the No. 7 Connecticut Huskies who knocked off No. 3 Iowa State Cyclones and take on the No. 4 seed Michigan State Spartans who knocked off the No. 1 seed Virginia Cavaliers.

The main event on Sunday features the No. 2 Michigan Wolverines against the No. 8 Kentucky Wildcats who beat the defending champion Louisville Cardinals by five to had Rick Ritino his first loss in the Sweet 16.
