Taren Morrison, Ricky McCoy commit to Arizona Wildcats


It has been a big week for the Arizona Wildcats.

On Thursday, they got a commitment from 3-star running back Taren Morrison.

The 5’11, 190-pounder attends Desert Ridge High School in Mesa, Arizona. He is considered the 41st best running back prospect, the 10th best prospect in the state of Arizona and the 503rd best prospect in the class of 2015, according to 24/7 Sports’ composite rankings.

On Saturday, 3-star tight end Ricky McCoy decided to join Morrison.

Many believed that TE prospect Ricky McCoy was leaning towards committing to Arizona. On Saturday he made it official.

McCoy confirmed the commitment via a text message.

“Yes sir, I did,” McCoy said when asked to confirm the commitment.

The 6’5, 230-pound McCoy attends Bullard High School in Fresno, California. He is ranked as the 37th best tight end prospect, the 111th best overall prospect in the state of California and 1,179th best prospect in the class of 2015, according to 24/7 Sports’ composite rankings.

McCoy chose the Wildcats over the Washington Huskies.
