Updated 2014 NCAA Women’s Tournament bracket: UConn, Texas A&M advance to Elite 8

The road to the Final Four in the 2014 NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament got a little bit clearer on Saturday as half of the field for the Elite 8 is now set, and of course, the undefeated UConn Huskies are in.

After a scary second half in which the BYU Cougars made a pretty solid run, Geno Auriemma’s crew were able to pull away and keep their national championship hopes alive as they move on to the regional final.

In the game immediately following that one, Texas A&M were able to take care of DePaul, punching their ticket as one of the best eight teams left in the country.
