World Series of Fighting 9 quick results

The World Series of Fighting returned tonight with a stacked card from Las Vegas, Nevada. WSOF 9 featured two world title fights in the Welterweight and Bantamweight divisions respectively.

In the main event of the evening, Rousimar Palhares became the WSOF Welterweight champion by defeating Steve Carl by inverted heel hook. Palhares seemingly held on to the submission a bit long once again, so it will be interesting to see what WSOF says about the finish.

In the co-main event, Marlon Moraes became the first ever WSOF Bantamweight champion by dominating Josh Rettinghouse en route to a unanimous decision victory.
