Manchester United has had a roller coaster month with manager David Moyes. They overcame a 0-2 deficit to Olympiacos in the Champions League round of 16 with a 3-0 win at Old Trafford. Then there was the derby blowout loss to Manchester City.
United has bounced back once again defeating Aston Villa 4-1 on Saturday, and Moyes says they’ll shift their focus towards Bayern Munich.
“It’s been a difficult season for us but we can go a long way to doing an awful lot better if we can get a result on Tuesday,” Moyes said, via Sky Sports.
“The players are incredibly focused and I am really looking forward to the game.”
Unfortunately they’re playing a different quality of soccer team in Bayern Munich, the defending Champions League winners. Munich hold a 23 point lead in the Bundesliga and haven’t lost a game all season. They’ve been held to a draw in three games this season.
