After a long journey over the past two weeks, after Sunday’s festivities, the Final Four of the 2014 NCAA Tournament is now set for Arlington next weekend as all of the Elite 8 games are in the books, and it’s time to get down to finding out who the national champion will be for 2014.
Saturday evening, both the top overall seed Florida Gators and the second-seeded Wisconsin Badgers punched their tickets.
Florida capture the South Region title with a win over the Cinderella Dayton Flyers, pushing their winning streak to 30 games.
Meanwhile, Wisconsin fought their way to a tough West Region championship by defeating the top-seed Arizona Wildcats.
On Sunday, the UConn Huskies completed their magical run through the East Region with a win over the Michigan State Spartans, setting up a date with Florida next weekend.
In the final game, setting up a match up with Wisconsin next weekend, the Kentucky Wildcats won a thriller over the Michigan Wolverines.
