2014 Men's College Basketball AP All-American teams announced; Doug McDermott, Shabazz Napier lead bunch

The Final Four is set, meaning that the 2014 college basketball season is rapidly coming to a close. This season, we were treated to some tremendous performances by some of the best players in the nation. With that, on Monday, the Associated Press has released their 2014 All-American teams.

And to no one’s surprise, Creighton’s Doug McDermott and UConn’s Shabazz Napier lead the first team.

The second team features Kansas’ Andrew Wiggins:

While the third team is headlined by Florida’s Scottie Wilbekin:

All of these players are more than worthy of their distinctions, although as always, you could maybe argue that some should be slotted elsewhere.

Still, though, no matter where you sit in this voting, it’s still an honor to be considered an All-American.
