After just one season with the Missouri Tigers, guard Jordan Clarkson will be headed off to the NBA, according to a report from ESPN.com and Jeff Goodman.
Missouri guard Jordan Clarkson is heading to the NBA, sources told ESPN.com.
After transferring into Columbia from Tulsa, Clarkson was phenomenal for the Tigers in his one season on campus, averaging 17.5 points, 3.8 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game as he led the team through the SEC.
As far as prospects for the Draft are concerned, Clarkson could land in the first-round if all goes well, and that’s due to his versatility, as Goodman also pointed out.
Clarkson has the size and athleticism to play either backcourt spot on the floor, which goes a long way in the NBA these days and allows coaches to toy around with their rosters a little more.
Also on Monday, Kansas freshman star Andrew Wiggins is holding a press conference where he is expected to declare for the draft after just one season in Lawrence with the Jayhawks in the Big 12.
