It’s been no secret for a while now that the Cleveland Browns may choose to go the direction of a quarterback with their fourth overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft. It’s also been no well-kept secret that despite the hype of the big three, they’ve been intrigued by Fresno State product Derek Carr, and they recently had the chance to get to know him a little better.
New GM Ray Farmer and new head coach Mike Pettine went out to visit with Carr, and according to the prospect, it was overall a good experience.
Derek Carr “The visit with the #Browns went really well. They sent a ton of people out here to see me (Farmer, Pettine) so It went well”

Of course, the Browns are one of the few teams that are absolutely in love with Carr. Most expect him to fall to the second round, where the Browns may look to take him. If wide receiver Sammy Watkins is there for them to take, it might not be the best idea in the world to pass up on him.
But with the NFL Draft, you never know.
