All of the news surrounding the Philadelphia Eagles has centered around the release of ultra talented wide receiver DeSean Jackson.
Despite that story taking up most of the news, the Eagles made a roster move on Monday.
As first reported by the Eagles Insider twitter account, an account run by the writers of the Philadelphia Eagles’ official website, the team has added offensive lineman Andrew Gardner to their roster.

Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer confirmed the news.
#Eagles have signed OL Andrew Gardner to the 90-man roster, making up for the loss of … Nah.

Gardner was originally drafted with the 181st pick of the sixth round of the 2009 Draft by the Miami Dolphins. Gardner was a standout with the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, but needed shoulder surgery during his final season.
Gardner has also been a member of the Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals and most recently, the Houston Texans.
As McLane joked, this totally makes up for the loss of Jackson. Right?
