4-star QB Jake Browning commits to Washington Huskies

New head coach Chris Peterson and the Washington Huskies landed a huge commitment.

4-star quaterback Jake Browning gave his pledge to Washington on Monday.

He announced his decision via twitter.

The 6’2, 185-pound Browning attends Folsom High School in Folsom, California.

Browning is ranked as the seventh best pro style quarterback prospect, the 24th best overall prospect in the state of California and the 163rd best overall prospect in the class of 2015, according to 24/7 Sports’ composite rankings.

Browning chose Washington over several impressive offers, including the Alabama Crimson Tide, Boise State Broncos, Colorado Buffaloes and Oklahoma State Cowboys, among many others.

This is the second 4-star quarterback Peterson has landed with the Huskies. In February, they signed K.J. Carta-Samuels, the little brother of former Vanderbilt Commodores’ quarterback, Austyn Cara-Samuels.
