The Clemson Tigers have some rebuilding to do in 2014, especially on the offensive side of the ball. In particular, head coach Dabo Swinney is looking for a new man under center with the graduation of Tajh Boyd, so we’re headed for a good old-fashioned QB battle this spring and summer between Cole Stoudt, Chad Kelly and true freshman Deshaun Watson.
But, from the way Swinney put it, this competition can only end well as he’d be happy with any of the three under center come September.
Dabo: “We do not have a QB problem.” Says he’d be comfortable w/all 3 contenders. QBs will go live @ today’s scrimmage. #Clemson

As of right now, Stoudt is considered to be the starter by default, given his experience. Last spring, Boyd sat out the spring game and Stoudt stepped up and turned some heads, giving fans a small glimpse into this year.
But, only time will tell whether or not Swinney and offensive coordinator Chad Morris believe Stoudt can keep that position.
