This past week, 22-year-old Mike Trout signed a six-year, $144.5 million extension with the Los Angeles Angels, which was incredibly worth it given the track that this young man is on. And on Opening Night against the Seattle Mariners, he proved that he’s worth every penny at the expense of one of the best pitchers in baseball.
In his first at-bat in the first inning, Trout unloaded on Felix Hernandez, taking him deep to left field.
Yeah, after watching that, no one is going to question whether or not Trout was worth the money, as if anyone was asking that before.
