MLB Opening Day 2014: St. Louis Cardinals at Cincinnati Reds starting lineups

The St. Louis Cardinals no longer have Carlos Beltran or David Freese, but the losses shouldn’t be felt too hard given their offseason acquisition of Peter Bourjos and their elite minor league depth.

They’ll be looking to repeat as National League Champions this season, though certainly will get a challenge from fellow NL Central foe the Cincinnati Reds who are looking to make some noise of their own.

Already one of the most potent offensive lineups in the game, the Reds are hoping their pitching will stay on course and put them in position to contend for the Central’s crown as they and the Cardinals figure to be atop the division when all is said and done.
