Greetings! It’s Monday morning, and each and every week (including last Monday), we bring you the latest look at the always entertaining race for the NBA’s Most Valuable Player Award. As March Madness winds down a bit, the nation’s attention, from a basketball standpoint, will shift back to the NBA, and the NBA MVP race fits right in with the central line of discussion. A clear top two has emerged, but behind that duo, there is some serious jockeying taking place, and we’ll break it down for you here.

For reference, the MVP “criteria” used here is the most literal sense of the word, and team success (while certainly a factor) doesn’t include or exclude any prospective candidate from the proceedings. Without further ado, let’s get it going!
