NFL Rumors: Miami Dolphins to bring back Dan Marino in some capacity

Former Miami Dolphins Hall of Fame quarterback Dan Marino is currently looking for a job after he was let go by CBS earlier this year from his studio job. So, why not return to the Dolphins organization in some capacity?

That’s exactly what team owner Stephen Ross is looking to make happen as the Miami Herald is reporting that he will talk with Marino about coming back to the team; he just doesn’t know in what sort of capacity yet.

Dolphins owner Stephen Ross said he will talk to Dan Marino about a potential job within the organization. But he said he has “no idea” what it might be.

Now before anyone thinks that this could be some sort of John Elway-type executive position, hold on just a second. If you remember, the team tried something like that a while back, and Marino quickly made up his mind that it wasn’t something that he wanted to do.
But, he could serve as an ambassador in some sort of capacity, as a friendly face of the organization, if you will.
