Michael Strahan reportedly set to join ABC's 'Good Morning America'

Michael Strahan has had one of the more successful post-NFL careers of nearly any other football player that has retired throughout history, and it appears to be getting even better, as Deadline Hollywood is reporting that Strahan is set to join “Good Morning America.”

Michael Strahan is joining ABC’s morning infotainment program Good Morning America. Strahan will continue to co host daytime talker  With Kelly and Michael. Expect to see him on GMA a couple days a week, initially. The deal was in the works before GMA’s news anchor Josh Elliott, formerly of ESPN, decided to leave the show to join NBC Sports.

The show was hit hard by the loss of Josh Elliott, who decided to go back into the sports world full-time by taking a job with NBC, but there were really no rumors that Strahan had been in line to take over.

If anything, though, Strahan should bring a nice dynamic to the morning show with his personality, which has gotten him to be so successful in the first place after his playing days.
