MLB Opening Day 2014: New York Yankees at Houston Astros starting lineups

The New York Yankees spent enough money to fund a third world country this past offseason and have a completely re-vamped roster because of it. So who do they get to open the season against? Maybe a fellow American League East foe like the hated Boston Red Sox or the gritty Baltimore Orioles?

2. Derek Jeter (R) SS
3. Carlos Beltran (S) RF
4. Brian McCann (L) C
5. Mark Teixeira (S) 1B
6. Alfonso Soriano (R) DH
7. Brett Gardner (L) LF
