As part of their quest to improve the passing game, the New York Jets have made another free agency move in the wide receiver department as they have signed former Oakland Raiders wide receiver, Jacoby Ford.

This is the second free agency signing for the team at the wide receiver position, coming on the heels of signing Eric Decker not long after the free agency period opened up.

Ford has spent the past four seasons with the Raiders, amassing just 848 yards and three touchdowns, while at the same time being a factor in the special teams game, although not scoring any touchdowns.

If anything, this adds a bit of help in the receiving department, as it’s been rumored that the team is going to seek more help via the Draft coming up in May.

Rex Ryan has not been shy in noting that the offense needs some serious work, and you can begin to see this taking shape this offseason so far.
