It’s no secret that the New York Jets need help in their passing game. Yes, they brought in free-agent wide receiver Eric Decker, but they have yet to see whether or not he can be a proven number-one wide receiver.

To fulfill this need, the team will more than likely look to the draft, and according to NFL.com, they are showing some significant interest in Texas Tech tight end, Jace Amaro.

"The club is reportedly interested in former Texas Tech tight end Jace Amaro, whose prolific receiving skills in college generated 106 receptions last year for 1,352 yards."

Amaro would indeed bring in an interesting dynamic to the Jets’ offense. He was not only the best tight end in college football last season, he was also one of the top receivers in the country as well.

The team has set up a meeting with Amaro in the next coming weeks leading up to the 2014 NFL Draft this May, and no one should be surprised if Rex Ryan and management decide to pull the trigger on getting Michael Vick some help in the passing game.
