The 2014 World Champion Boston Red Sox are visiting the White House today to celebrate. They gave President Barack Obama a jersey with his number 44 on the back. Red Sox ambassador David Ortiz got Obama to hold up the jersey to take a selfie with him.
You can only imagine if it was a Vine video instead, Ortiz would be saying “this is our f—ing President.”
Still Obama hasn’t been one to shy away from taking selfies, remember when everyone was up in arms for the selfie he took with British prime minister David Cameron and Danish prime minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt at the memorial for Nelson Mandela?
There will probably be less backlash over this picture though.
