Following the 2013 college football season, UCLA Bruins QB Brett Hundley made the conscious decision to return to school in 2014 as a junior for at least one more year of experience before he enters the NFL Draft. Knowing he needed more work, he turned to Tim Tebow and Philip Rivers for some help, as he told reporters recently.
“There were a couple of quarterbacks I got in contact with.Philip Rivers, Tim Tebow and a couple of others,” Hundley told reporters after UCLA’s spring practice on Tuesday. “They have so much knowledge to give of the game and they shared a lot of knowledge with me.”
Hundley decided to return to the Bruins after he never really got any sort of set advice on where he could land in the draft. If anything, there were too many saying that he needed more work, thus he’ll put in one more year with UCLA in the Pac-12.
He’ll try to use that dynamic skill set that he’s currently improving to capture the conference championship that narrowly eluded them last season.
