The 2013 college football season for the Florida Gators in no way went the way that head coach Will Muschamp, the players and the rest of the coaching staff would have hoped. Coming off a year in 2012 in which they were in the Sugar Bowl, the team was riddled with injuries throughout the season and finished an abysmal 4-8.
But, it’s a new year in 2014 and the Gators return 15 starters from last season, plus they went out in the offseason and grabbed themselves a new offensive coordinator to help speed things up a little bit in Duke’s Kurt Roper. If anything, they’re hoping that Roper can get QB Jeff Driskel together to complete the monster season they’ve been looking for since he was one of the top recruits coming out of high school.
