Maurice Jones-Drew: Teams ‘conceded’ that he didn’t have anything left in the tank
By Mike Dyce
The Jacksonville Jaguars let running back Maurice Jones-Drew leave and he found that the market wasn’t as promising as he had hoped for. Jones-Drew said that teams “conceded” that he didn’t have anything left in the tank on the Mad Dog Sports Radio on Sirius XM.
The Raiders were willing to give him a chance, not only that but a chance to compete for the starting job with Darren McFadden.
Jones-Drew went on to praise the Raiders’ young talents and the moves they’ve made to win now. Quarterback Matt Schaub can also win a Super Bowl according to Jones-Drew.
