Depending on who you ask, Miami Dolphins wide receiver Mike Wallace may or may not be on the trade block.
Some sources have come out in recent weeks and suggested that the Dolphins are looking to move the talented though inconsistent wideout while other sources have suggested that’s not true.
One person who doesn’t believe the trade rumors is Wallace himself, who apparently is under the impression that he will not be moved.
Mike Wallace is not concerned about a CBS report that the Dolphins are continuing to try to trade him because his understanding is that it is not true. The Dolphins, privately, have vehemently denied the report, and Jason LaCanfora is the only reporter claiming Miami is shopping Wallace.
Trading Wallace wouldn’t be easy given the Dolphins would want a suitable return for the veteran and when you add in his albatross of a salary, opposing teams likely aren’t going to pay that price.
So no matter if the Dolphins are shopping him or not, actually moving him seems like an extreme long shot.
