Russell Wilson gets interviewed during Rangers game (Video)

The Seattle Seahawks are Super Bowl champions and as good as their defense was, quarterback Russell Wilson helped manage well enough under center to make sure the offense didn’t get in the way and was an asset to the defense rather than a detriment, which is so often the case.

Thanks to his success, Wilson has become a star and his baseball past has become more and more known. It became even more well known when he was drafted by the Texas Rangers in the Rule 5 Draft this year. While he attended Spring Training, Wilson won’t be playing for the Rangers in 2014 but he still sat down to talk about his experience during the ESPN broadcast of tonight’s Rangers game.

Wilson playing baseball was a bit of a possibility but it appears he’s wisely settled on playing football and football only. Rangers fans may be bummed out by this but greener pastures lie in Seattle and Seahawks fans are very pleased with Wilson’s decision.

I live in Surprise AZ 2 blocks from the ball park and I was at this
game . I have a personal license plate that says NFLHAWK. I took off the front
plate and tried to get it signed by Russell Wilson but I could not push though
the crowd. lol. It was great. I was shocked to see all the 12 man fans there.
They was a Hugh crowd in center field yelling SEAHAWKS SEAHAWKS SEAHAWKS. This
young man (Russell Wilson) is a real shot in the arm for professional
football. I’m so happy he is a Seahawk.
