Ryan Bader vs Rafael 'Feijao' likely for UFC 174

UFC 174 only has three confirmed fights as of today, but reports are surfacing that event is eyeing a Welterweight showdown between Tyron Woodley and Rory MacDonald, and a Light Heavyweight clash between Ryan Bader and Rafael ‘Feijao’ Cavalcante.

The bout was revealed by Ariel Helwani on UFC Tonight, but it has yet to be signed as of publishing.

Ryan Bader, the Ultimate Fighter season 10 winner, has won two of his last three fights. Bader has been sidelined by a broken hand suffered in his beat down of UFC veteran Anthony Perosh. A win over ‘Feijao’ would put Bader right back in the mix at the top of the Light Heavyweight division.

Feijao, the former StrikeForce Light Heavyweight champion, is looking to put a few poor years behind him and build up a winning streak. After being knocked out in his UFC debut by Thiago Silva in June, Feijao returned to the Octagon and ran through Igor Pokrajac in just over a minute. It was an emphatic statement from Feijao, and he will look to for the upset at UFC 174.
