With the 2014 NFL Draft just over a month away, prospects are beginning to make their pre-draft visits to meet with potential teams. One of the teams that has made some intriguing moves during the draft season has been the New England Patriots, who will be meeting with Johnny Manziel.

Along with Manziel, the Patriots will be meeting with another top quarterback prospect — Louisville’s Teddy Bridgewater.

Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network passed along the news late Tuesday night.

Ryan Mallett is currently the Patriots back up quarterback for Tom Brady, but it appears they could planning for a draft day slide involving one of the quarterbacks.

There has been some discussion that either Bridgewater or Manziel could drop in the first-round of May’s draft, so the Patriots will have done their research and will know whether or not they believe one of the two signal-callers can be their quarterback of the future.
