Although the New York Jets clearly had plenty of holes to fill entering the offseason, wide receiver might have been the least talented position on the team.

The Jets immediately addressed the position by chasing former Denver Broncos’ receiver Eric Decker, eventually signing the veteran to a five-year, $36.25 million deal.

This week, they agreed to a deal with former Oakland Raiders’ speedster Jacoby Ford.

According to Rich Cimini, who covers the Jets for ESPN’s NFL Nation, Oregon State Bears’ wide receiver Brandin Cooks is will visit the Jets prior to the draft.

Cooks has been courted by several teams. He has visited the New England Patriots and has drawn interest from the Carolina Panthers, Philadelphia Eagles and and Seattle Seahawks, among several other teams.

Cooks, who doesn’t lack confidence, claiming he can “do it better” than DeSean Jackson, had 128 receptions for 1,730 yards and 16 touchdowns for the Beavers last season.
