South Carolina Gamecocks’ wide receiver Bruce Ellington was one of the more explosive players in college football last season.
Although he decided to bypass his senior season to enter the NFL draft, there hasn’t been a lot of hype or news surrounding him.
As the draft draws near, it looks like that may change.
According to Kent Somers of AZCentral.com, Ellington will visit the Arizona Cardinals.
S.C. WR Bruce Ellington, Andre’s cousin, has a pre-draft visit scheduled w #azcardinals.

Ellington, as Somers points out, is the cousin of current Cardinals’ running back Andre Ellington, who was selected by the Cardinals with 187th overall pick in the sixth round of last year’s draft. He rushed for 652 yards and three touchdowns on just 182 carries and caught 39 passes for 371 yards and a touchdown.
Ellington had 775 yards and eight touchdowns on 49 receptions for the Gamecocks last year.
The 5’9, 176-pounder is obviously a fantastic athlete – he spent over three years on the Gamecocks’ basketball team before giving up the sport during the 2013-14 season to focus on football.
