The Arizona State Sun Devils believe they found their next quarterback.
3-star quaterback Bryce Perkins gave his pledge to Arizona State on Wednesday.
Justin Hopkins of 24/7 Sports has the scoop.
“I committed to ASU because I bleed maroon and gold,” Perkins said.
Several of the quarterbacks have started to come off the board in recent weeks with Perkins being the most recent.
Arizona State could take another quarterback in this class if the right fit comes along.
The 6’2, 200-pound Perkins attends Chandler High School in Chandler, Arizona.
Perkins is considered a dual threat quarterback and is ranked as the 26th best dual threat quarterback, the 12th best overall prospect in the state of Arizona and the 624th best overall prospect in the class of 2015, according to 24/7 Sports’ composite rankings.
Perkins chose Arizona State over offers from the rival Arizona Wildcats, Northwestern Wildcats and UCLA Bruins, among others.
Perkins becomes the third commitment for Arizona State, joining 3-star athlete Morie Evans and 3-star running back Nick Ralston, both from the state of Texas.
