Brady Hoke responds to Ed Warriner’s jokes

Just because the start of the 2014 college football season is still many months away doesn’t mean the rivalry between the Michigan Wolverines and the Ohio State Buckeyes is taking a vacation.

Ohio State offensive line coach Ed Warinner took some lighthearted shots at Michigan and Brady Hoke recently, and Buckeye Sports Bulletin writer Marcus Hartman shared Warinner’s quips with the world:

Boom! Roasted!

Hoke responded to the jabs Thursday:

“The one thing around here is we try and always stay in between the lines. That’s important with how you handle your program.”

Okay, that’s a pretty weak response, but we’re assuming Hoke is saving his A+ material for when the two teams actually meet on the field.
