The Trillium Cup is the symbol of the rivalry between Gregg Berhalter’s Columbus Crew and Ryan Nelsen’s Toronto FC. On Saturday, April 5, both team square off at Crew Stadium in Columbus, Ohio for the first of three legs for the right to win the Trillium.

Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. ET and will be televised by MLS LIVE. Here are 10 Bold Predictions for the match between the Columbus Crew and Toronto FC.

1. Michael Bradley with a goal and an assist

One of Toronto FC’s top DPs, Michael Bradley, will be on goal to help the Reds’ cause. Bradley will earn a goal and an assist.

2. Jonathan Osorio strikes

Jonathan Osorio is making a name for himself as one of the top players on Toronto FC. He’s going to record a goal and an assist as well to lead Toronto.

3. Here comes Gilberto

This could be the game Gilberto makes a name for himself. With seven shots so far, the Braziliance from Gilberto will be on display.

4. Julio Cesar with under five saves

This will be a quiet day for Toronto FC goalkeeper Julio Cesar. He will make under five saves in what looks to be a shooutout at Crew Stadium.

5. Federico Higuain with a brace

This season, Federico Higuain leads the Crew with three goals and two assists. On Saturday at home, Gonzalo’s brother will be on frame with a brace against Toronto.

6. Steve Clark with at least five saves

This will be a big day out for Steve Clark. The Columbus Crew goalkeeper has nine saves this season and will have at least five.
