Conor McGregor is one doctor appointment away from fighting in Dublin

UFC Featherweight, Conor McGregor, has been sidelined since August with a torn ACL. Although he has not been able to continue his run inside the Octagon, McGregor has been keeping busy calling out UFC fighters left and right.

McGregor is a budding superstar, and both he and the UFC know it. With the UFC returning to Dublin, Ireland later this year, it was no shock to MMA fans and pundits when rumors leaked that the UFC was looking for McGregor to headline the card on July 19th.

Last night on UFC Tonight, it was reported that McGregor is one doctor’s appointment from being cleared to fight:

If you recall, Cole Miller was none too pleased about the UFC’s promotion of McGregor, citing that he has yet to do much inside the Octagon. Miller wanted to fight McGregor, but McGregor’s ACL injury put the bout on hold. Now that McGregor is likely to be cleared, expect the bout to become official in the coming days.
