David Ross performs hilarious tribute to Major League (Video)

This year marks the 25th anniversary since the release of Major League, one of the best baseball movies along with Field of Dreams, Bull Durham and The Natural and Boston Red Sox catcher David Ross performed a hilarious one-man tribute to the movie via MLB.com.

The movie features a number of great one-liners that Ross performed in a spot-on fashion. As far as sports movies go, this one may be the most quotable movie short of Caddyshack which is in a league all to itself on the list of all-time sports movies, heck it transcends sports and is one of the best movies, period.

Ross has yet to appear in a game in the young season for the Red Sox thus far after battling a foot injury for part of Spring Training and is looking to bounce-back after a difficult 2013 season for him personally when he hit .216 in 36 games for the World Series champions.

His best days have come and gone in the big leagues, so maybe it’s time he goes the route of Jake Taylor from Major League and becomes a manager
