According to Georgia Bulldogs head coach Mark Richt, redshirt freshman linebacker Paris Bostick has elected to transfer to a new program.
Richt said the decision was a mutual one:
“After discussing the situation with Paris, we mutually agreed this is a good decision. He has a positive future in football and we wish him all the best in attaining his goals in football and in education.”
Bostick’s playing career at Georgia never quite got off the ground. Recruited as a safety, the 6-foot-1, 217-pound Bostick was moved to linebacker upon arriving in Athens and was expected to potentially battle for playing time right away. Unfortunately, he was forced to miss the entire 2013 season after receiving surgery on one of his toes.
