In a move that has surprised absolutely no one, the Green Bay Packers have re-signed fullback John Kuhn to a one-year deal worth just over $1 million. Both FOXSports.com’s Mike Garafolo and NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport both report that Kuhn is headed back to Green Bay and in a situation where everyone wins.

It was very unlikely that the Packers and Kuhn were going to divorce as he’s been one of the most consistent aspects of the Packers offense. While receivers have come and gone and running backs have broken down, Kuhn has always been there for Aaron Rodgers and it looks as though he’ll continue to be for at least the 2014 season.

This whole situation may come up again next year, but Kuhn is as much a part of the offense as any other aspect and the Packers are happy to have him back.
