Joakim Noah: ‘There’s no way in hell we’re going to try and lose games to match up against anybody’

There is a tight race in the middle of the Eastern Conference standings. The Chicago Bulls and Toronto Raptors are slated to get the third and fourth seed while the Brooklyn Nets and Washington Wizards are in fifth and sixth place respectively. Since the Bulls are 2-1 against the Nets and 0-2 against the Wizards, there is a notion they could try to secure the fourth seed to face the fifth seed Nets instead of the Wizards.

Bulls center Joakim Noah says there is no way the Bulls would tank for playoff seeding.

“We’re just trying to play good basketball,” Noah said, via Nick Friedell of ESPNChicago.com. “There’s no way in hell we’re going to try and lose games to match up against anybody. I think whatever happens, happens, so we’re just going to keep playing our game, keep winning as much as we can, and then (we) can’t wait for the playoffs.”
