Alabama safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix has been steadily rising up folks’ boards recently for the 2014 NFL Draft. He’s considered a lock to go in the first round after a stellar, successful career with the Crimson Tide. But the question lately has been just where in the draft in that first round Clinton-Dix will land, and according to NFL.com, the St. Louis Rams at No. 13 looks rather promising.
Several personnel guys have told me they’d be very surprised if the Rams passed on HaHa Clinton-Dix at 13.

With the way his stock has risen since the offseason, we maybe can’t even assume that Clinton-Dix will be there to be taken with the 13th pick, but as Jeremiah said, if he is then the Rams would be foolish to pass up the chance to get him.
In the NFC West, having to battle passing attacks like the San Francisco 49ers and Arizona Cardinals twice a season, his coverage skills would more than come in handy for Jeff Fisher on his defense, and could go a long way toward giving them a step in the right direction toward the top of the division.
In one month, we’ll know whether or not the Rams’ defense will get a little bit of Alabama flavor to it.
