The Miami Dolphins are looking to bounce back from a pretty embarrassing 2013 season and it appears they think wide receiver Nate Burleson may be able to help them out. While he’s not signing in Miami, Burleson is visiting and there may be a deal soon if all goes well.

Burleson ha been efficient in his career but he’s never been a stud receiver. He’s also famous for his most recent off-field incident which involved him crashing his car and breaking his arm while protecting a stack of pizzas.
The Lions cut Burleson for salary cap reasons but the pizza incident likely didn’t help his cause much. In the end, Burleson was a decent complimentary receiver in Detroit and the Dolphins are looking to see if he can possibly provide that for them in Miami.
Anything to open up the offense will help the Dolphins and Burleson may be someone who can help.
