Paul Martin is back for the Pittsburgh Penguins.
After missing the last 18 games with a broken hand suffered during the Olympics while representing the United States, Martin will make his way back into the Penguins lineup when his team takes on the Winnipeg Jets Thursday night in Winnipeg.
Martin will likely see time on the team’s top power play unit against Winnipeg as he looks to shake off any rust he may have over the final week and a half of the regular season.
Martin also missed 23 games earlier in the season with a broken tibia. Hopefully, for him and his team, Martin’s injuries are done as the team gets ready to make a run at its first Stanley Cup since 2009.
